In the Fall of 2016 I accepted a last minute fill-in role for Troy Civic Theatre's production of City of Angels. Taking the role of the jerky movie producer Buddy Fidler, the show would be my third time around working with Joe Phillips (Carousel and Drood) as well as Frank Leavitt for the umpteenth time as musical director. Many familiar faces in this show including Michael Ciaravella, Ken Kasch, Laura Darling (in an acting capacity) and even more new faces. The show had a few problems, including missing props, drop-outs, lighting that set afire, and incorrect advertising but we were able to carry it through.
